This is really messy and horrible but I actually really, really, really like it.
The main points: John and Dave are buds, Dave starts becoming cooler and cooler, and then he just kinda dumps John completely for the “in” crowd, but John honestly doesn’t have all that many friends. A lot of people won’t put up with his pranks and craps, and most find him annoying, so I guess Dave is his only friend. But when Dave ditches him, he’s left all alone and now there’s no one to pull pranks on or play video games with or even talk to.
